Caring For Our Own:
In an article published in the Washington Post of 25 February 2007, Bill Gates wrote for centuries people assumed that economic growth (development) resulted from the interplay between capital and labour. He continued saying that today we know that these elements are outweighed by a single critical factor: Innovation. This is precisely what Bay FM and the Bay FM Foundation is all about – innovation. Exploring and facilitating creative and innovative methods to contribute towards community development.
Bay FM aptly employs the epithet Our Community, Your Radio – and with good reason too; it describes the soul that is defining its special relationship with both listeners and the corporate community. As an experienced establishment in the industry, Bay FM is held in high esteem. The steady rise in its listenership over the past five years from a modest
34 000 to the current 110 000 (AMPS: 2010b) also bears testimony that Bay FM is influential with a solid following.
We invite you to make Bay FM Foundation your Corporate Social Investment (CSI) partner of choice in making a real difference in the lives of ordinary South Africans!
