The new season SA’s Got Talent is in full swing with the theatre auditions in Cape Town and Johannesburg taking place recently. The majority of the acts that auditioned brought their A game with a few failing to impress the judges. The show’s motto of ‘Any Act, Any Age’ really shone in this year’s theatre audition phase.

The variety of talent in the competition is the highlight of the new season of SA’s Got Talent. Every type of act ranging from singers, dancers, ventriloquists, lip syncing divas to comedians, parkour crews, contortionists, fire dancers and competitive eaters were on show for the judges. The big question now is ‘who made the cut and will get through to the live semi-finals and be one step closer to winning the grand prize of half a million rand?’.

Marlon Davids, MD of e.tv Channel Divisions is excited about the upcoming contestants on the new season of SA’s Got Talent. ‘We saw so many different types of talent at the theatre auditions. It’s very tough at the moment to pinpoint a possible winner as this year is a strong competition between all the contestants. We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to welcoming Mzansi’s next big star to the e.tv family.’ says Davids.

SA’s Got Talent will premiere on Sunday 4 September 2016 at 6:05PM on e.tv and eHD on Openview HD (Channel 104) and DStv (Channel 194).
