Univen Radio is celebrating 16 years of existence since its inception on 05 September 1997. The Community Radio Station is located in Thohoyandou at the Thulamela Municipality. The Station’s broadcasting radius covers the Vhembe and Mopani district municipality, Mutale local municipality, North of Kruger National Park on the eastern side, Greater Giyani municipality area and Makhado local municipality in the South, Western and Northern parts.

The main languages of broadcast are English, Tshivenda, Sepedi and Xitsonga.

Univen Radio target Audience is between the ages of 12 and 35.
