The world of Scandal! will be shaken up once again by a mysterious new character named Damon Bradbury, who will be played by stage and screen star Craig Urbani.

Damon is a rich and successful businessman who oozes charisma, which draws people towards him. He enjoys taking risks in business and life, so some of his choices and dealings are questionable. Damon might seem perfect, but his desire for belonging and constant need for approval is demonstrated by his need to seek out his sister, who is shocked to learn that he even exists. The indiscretions of his past are justified by his motto of ‘rules are meant to be bent’.

Lusanda Mbane will play the role of Boniswa on Scandal!

Scandal! is adding a new character to the mix in the form of Boniswa, played by actor and entrepreneur Lusada Mbane. Boniswa is the wife of Kingsley (Hlomla Dandala), who arrives in the world of Scandal! unaware of her husband’s past with Yvonne (Kgomotso Christopher).

Boniswa is a warm and friendly woman who possesses a ‘mother earth’ quality. She welcomes people into her life, but does command a great deal of respect. She values loyalty over everything else – but should she be betrayed, she’s not afraid to show her ferocious side.

Scandal: Will Thembeka be found guilty?

Thembeka is adamant that she is innocent in the case of the murder of Vuyo Mabutya (Zizi Penteni) and will do anything to prove it. Themebeka’s trickery to deceive all those around her has always been her greatest asset and she has always managed to stay on the right side of the law because of it. The evidence keeps piling up against her though, and she is arrested by Lerumo at NFH in front of her husband, Quinton and all her colleagues.

Thembeka’s lawyer, Arrod, is confident that they will win the case, but the state has a secret weapon up their sleeve in the form of Audrey. Audrey’s evidence is substantial and could be the downfall of Thembeka.
